You may need to consider saving your tooth with Root Canal Treatment or having your tooth extracted. Your dentist can provide an individual assessment of your case to help you make this decision. Our priority is to relieve your toothache and keep you comfortable.

Root Canal Treatment allows us to keep teeth when the pulp or nerve of the tooth is no longer healthy. The pulp or nerve of a tooth is soft and delicate. It’s protected by the hard outer layers of our teeth. The pulp can become unhealthy if your tooth has a new, large, decayed cavity or if its had a large cavity in the past. The pulp of a tooth may even die if you have had trauma to your tooth like knocking your tooth while playing sport.

Root Canal Treatment will usually be provided over a number of appointments that your dentist will outline for you. Your tooth will be treated with medicated dressings so that we can get you comfortable as quickly as possible.
